Our Story

A Warm Welcome

Hello! I’m Natalia — a Jersey girl turned Charlottesville local who loves art museums, big earrings, and a great mocktail. After nearly two decades as a maternal-child nurse, I discovered my second career calling in wedding planning.

I believe there are a few unforgettable moments in life that deserve the utmost attention and care.

Throughout my nursing career, I was privileged to be present during the most intimate moments in families’ lives—caring for a sick child, helping families through tragic loss, or witnessing the birth of a new baby.

A wedding celebration is, likewise, an intensely personal experience that marks the beginning of a couples’ adventure through life. As a planner, it brings me great joy to join couples in this moment and bring a calm, joyful presence to the planning process.

An exceptional planner must be an expert in the art of hospitality,
a guardian of the peace, and a keeper of the clock.

Approach

A bride and groom embrace outdoors during sunset, standing on grass with trees in the background. The bride is wearing a white gown and veil, and the groom is in a dark suit, holding a bouquet of white flowers.

Executing a seamless event is both an art and a science. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to assist other wedding planners and caterers at some of the most sought-after venues in the region, including Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards, the Market at Grelen, Mount Ida Farm & Vineyards, and The Seclusion.

Skeyler Events is founded on the values of warmth, responsiveness, meticulous planning, and exceptional service. We are delighted to join couples on this journey!
