By now, we have had our introductory call and your contract is signed — we are officially in planning mode! Thank you for trusting Skyler Events to support you during this joyful and meaningful season of your lives.
Inside this welcome guide, you’ll find important information about the wedding planning process. If anything comes up or you need additional guidance, I’m just an email away.

Planning Sessions
We will have 4 sessions during our planning journey. I will touch base with you by email before each session with items to be completed. This will help our sessions to run smoothly and will keep you aprised of what comes next. You are always welcome to email me between sessions with any questions!
Session 1: Within 4 weeks of contract signing
Session 2: 12 weeks from wedding day
Session 3: 6 weeks from wedding day
Session 4: 2 weeks from wedding day

Communication
Office Hours
Monday - Friday | 9am - 4pm
The majority of our communication will take place during scheduled planning sessions. Between sessions, I am always happy to connect by email at natalia@skylerevents.com.
When you send an email, you can expect a response within 48 business hours. I often reply sooner, but if you don’t hear from me right away, please be assured that I will be in touch within that timeframe. The week before your wedding, I will provide my cell phone number for prompt communication or in case of an urgent issue.
Please note: I do not communicate with clients via text message or social media direct messaging.

Wedding planning involves many moving parts. Below is an overview of our planning
process that will be helpful as we move through the journey together. If you have any questions about

My Role
Maintain prompt and responsive communication with you and your vendor team
Provide guidance on the planning process
Conduct (4) planning sessions with you
Coordinate and manage your vendors
Create a wedding day timeline and provide to your vendors
Create a personalized reception layout and provide to your vendors
Collect any needed documentation from your vendors to provide to the venue
Conduct a venue final walk-through with you 2-4 weeks before the wedding day
Conduct a 1-hour ceremony rehearsal
Provide 11 hours of service on your wedding day
Set up wedding decor, as agreed upon during planning meetings
Manage and collaborate with your vendors on your wedding day
Make sure your day is stress-free and smooth!
Your Role
Book your vendors and rentals
Determine a transportation plan for you and your guests
Define your aesthetic and decor plan
Provide planner with all of your venue/vendor contracts to review
Maintain timely communication with me and with your vendor/venue team
Schedule venue final walk-through and ceremony rehearsal
Manage your RSVPs, determine final guest count, and meal choices (if needed)
Assemble and organize your decor for planner
Bring your decor and inventory list to the venue the evening before or the morning of the wedding
Identify a person who will take your decor home at the end of the wedding
Bring any vendor tips with you on the wedding day in a sealed envelope labeled with the vendor's name
